'Writing Screen Comedy' Masterclass
White Lantern Film and Lighthouse, Poole are offering an exciting masterclass opportunity for teachers and practitioners called 'Writing Screen Comedy'.

Writing Screen Comedy
Lead by Phil Mathews, Jan Weddup and Danny Stack

This two-day weekend Masterclass explores how to write attention-grabbing comedy and effectively include this into your script.  From Sit-com to Rom-com on day one, to comedy submissions for television and film on day two. Situational Comedy and writing sketches with Jan Weddup, film writer and lecturer of MA and BA Screenwriting at Bournemouth University along with Phil Mathews, television and film writer, BA and MA lecturer and specialist in Rom-Com, romance and drama.

Day two with award winning screenwriter Danny Stack, formerly script editor for some of the most iconic Channel 4 comedy series.  Danny has also been a script editor for Working Titles Film.
