Writer and workshop facilitator Clare Reddaway will be leading participants on an exciting journey through Poole’s maritime heritage and social history. Using exhibits from the museum, as well as inspiration from the quay itself, attendees will come away with innovative tools for future writing, and the first draft of a piece of work.
 
Clare Reddaway lives in Bath where she writes short stories, scripts, and specialises in site-specific writing.  Her work has been has been broadcast on radio, produced in the theatre, and published in anthologies.  Before turning to writing Clare was a script editor for the BBC and Granada Television. Now she runs weekly creative writing workshops in Bath.  Clare has an MA in Creative Writing from Bath Spa University. 

Scaplen’s Court is Poole's most complete mediaeval domestic building. Highly atmospheric it provides a fantastic base for exploring the history of Poole Quay.
