Inquiring Minds: The Showcase @ Pavilion Dance

On Saturday 12th & Sunday 13th March 2011, 13 aspiring young choreographers from across the South West will present 13 brand new pieces of work at a unique showcase.

The event at Pavilion Dance in Bournemouth is the culmination of an exciting new regional project: Inquiring Minds, designed to encourage new ways of thinking and fresh perspectives from which to approach the choreographic process.

For many of the young choreographers this will be the first time their work (devised and produced entirely by themselves) is performed in a professional theatre.

Produced by Dance South West, and funded by the Bournemouth and Poole Cultural Hub, Inquiring Minds: The Showcase is part of the national U.Dance performance framework and will be attended by Linda Jasper MBE, Director of Youth Dance England.
