An annual procession lighting up Poole High Street!

Local school children have taken part in workshops with professional artists to make lanterns for tonight's procession. Based on the theme of the planets, there will be a big bright sun lantern as the centrepiece, and all will be carried by the children from Falkland Square, down Poole High Street, and end at the Guildhall in Poole Old Town.

Joined by parents, school staff and late night shoppers, all are invited to enjoy and walk with the procession, and when it reaches its end, to come and enjoy choir singing and mince pies outside the Guildhall!

Timings:

6pm - Led by the Mayor of Poole the procession will set off from Falkland Square, outside the Dolphin Centre.

6.30-6.45pm - The party will reach the Guildhall and start off the choir singers and festivities.

7.30-8pm - End of singing and event.
